Honestly, if there’s one thing that did wonders for my overall health, it’s a simple beet juice routine.
To begin with, it tastes ah-mazing! You just need the right combination of fruits and veggies. My husband and I started doing this little 14 days of beet juice routine every month, and it slowly became something we actually look forward to. We noticed more energy, my skin looked more hydrated, and we both had fewer random sugar cravings. When you eat healthy, you naturally feel healthy and good about yourself, which adds to your self-care. Beet juice is also known to support heart health and help with liver detox — there are plenty of articles out there if you want to read more about it.

Here’s what I add in my beet juice: 3–4 beetroots, A small piece of ginger & fresh turmeric, 3–4 carrots, Oranges/mandarins, 1–2 cucumbers & 1 lime
I peel and wash everything, juice it, and store the leftover juice in a glass mason jar. I usually make enough for two days and take a small shot each morning. (It’s not recommended to have more than one shot a day in the first month.) My Fullstar juicer comes super handy for me — it’s easy to clean, takes up very little space, and fits right in the cabinet. The size is perfect for 2–4 people in the house.
