Turmeric oil for acne or eczema

I first realized how useful turmeric is about 8 years ago & I describe its immune benefits in this post. It however took me much longer to realize that it is also a great skincare ingredient, given its anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric for acne or eczema should be given strong consideration, and it is phenomenal for just normal skin moisturizing and care.

Glow oil

After much trial and error in looking for the perfect turmeric-containing skincare product, I discovered this product that is WAY cheaper than all the other turmeric-containing products out there.

It has high-quality turmeric infused with my other favorite skincare ingredient, rosehip oil, which is a total powerhouse from a skincare perspective; it is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins A and C, and phenols.

These ingredients allow rosehip oil to treat signs of aging and pigmentation, hydrate skin and repair damaged skin, and provide a strong protective antioxidant boost — all without the oily feel of a traditional liquid oil

I’ve tried other turmeric-containing oils from Amazon, and they were awful compared to this product. You could tell they did not have much turmeric and had other ingredients that just did not sit well on my skin.

The Glow oil is also so inexpensive compared to the other turmeric-containing skincare products out there. Many are in the $50-100 range, as opposed to this one, which is just 22+, which drops even lower (to $20+ if grabbed via subscribe-and-save with 5+ items in the cart).

I’ve been using it for two years now, and I love it! It moisturizes my skin so beautifully, leaves it feeling plumper and healthier (fits with the collagen-building data on its ingredients), and it actually does seem to make it glow, as advertised. It is recommended for acne-prone mature skin. I’ve mixed it with body moisturizers and tried it on a stubborn rash on the back of my daughter’s knees – gone overnight!

It is also the best makeup remover I’ve come across. Throw out your regular face washes, and consider using it for oil cleansing at night. Here is how to oil cleanse:
➤Massage several drops of the Glow oil into your face. Spend 30-60 seconds on the eyes, especially if using eyeliner and mascara till you can feel the makeup dissolve into the oil.
➤Wipe off with cotton or a washcloth.
➤Rinse your face with warm to hot water, and repeat the wipe-off process. Repeat again and again till you feel all dirt and makeup have been removed.

Other people have tried it and also seem to uniformly agree that it does a fantastic job – give it a try! I describe how I use it and combine it with other products such as the TruSkin Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid serum and the Lilyana Naturals moisturizer in this post.
